Drivers:

What are the requirements to become a driver with HaulConnector?

Drivers need to own a tri-axle, quad, or quint, must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), have a clean driving record with no violations in the past 2 years, have active general commercial liability ($1M) and workers’ compensation insurance ($500k). Your CDL will be verified using Chekr, and your insurances will be verified.

How do I find and accept Hauls on HaulConnector?

Hauls can be found on our HaulBoard. You can choose loads based on factors like location, material, Driver pay, distance, and delivery date. We deliver 17-18 ton loads, but have haul off and daily driver (hourly/per load) opportunities too.

When and how do I get paid for completed Hauls?

Payment requests are processed via direct deposit (fee applies), check or Zelle.

Am I restricted to certain Hauls or locations?

No, drivers can choose any available Haul within our service area – Charlotte to Wilmington – as long as it fits your truck. Ex. asphalt, riprap, concrete, or clearing debris.

What should I do if I’m unable to complete a Haul I’ve accepted?

Contact customer service immediately to resolve the situation. Failure to do so may result in account termination.

What incentives does HaulConnector offer to drivers?

We offer referral bonuses and can occasionally we can offer higher hourly rates for certain projects.

Is there a rating system for drivers?

Reliability, reputation, and job performance are important to us and our clients. A rating and review system is being developed, and, once implemented, maintaining a certain rating will be required to remain active.

What support does HaulConnector offer during Hauls?

Our company assists with order/job-related issues and expects our drivers to follow applicable traffic laws and use extra care while delivering materials. However, drivers are responsible for any costs associated with fuel, roadside assistance, and vehicle maintenance. We also provide marketing support and other resources as they become available.

Can I work for other delivery services while driving for HaulConnector?

Yes, you’re free to work for other services. We expect professional conduct on deliveries for HaulConnector. We do have restrictions on the use of subcontractors. Contact us to discuss.

How do I book trucks for a project?

We have created a simple solution to book trucks online. You can chose the job type, number and type of trucks, job dates, etc. All current rates are listed and for larger projects, we offer a digital contract with standard payment terms.

How do I place an order for materials?

Orders can be placed through our online Marketplace – “The Quarry.” Simply select your materials, pay upfront, and schedule your delivery.

What payment methods are accepted?

For material orders and small trucking jobs, we accept most major credit cards and ACH. All transactions are secure and processed at the time your order is placed.

For larger trucking jobs, we offer terms with a simple contract and accept check or wire.

What kind of materials can I order?

We offer standard sand and aggregates such as Crushed Concrete, Rip Rap, ABC stone, #5,#67,#78 Stone, Fill Dirt, Granite Sand, Dry Screening, Surge Stone, Mortar Sand, Asphalt, and more, with plans to expand our inventory based on demand and quarry availability.

How are delivery fees calculated?

Delivery fees are based on distance from the quarry to your delivery site, starting at 0-15 miles and maxing out at 30 miles. The total cost will include the cost of materials, taxes, and the applicable delivery fee.

Can I track my delivery?

You’ll receive real-time notifications when your order is accepted and when it’s on its way, but real-time tracking is currently unavailable.

What is the typical delivery time for orders?

Orders are delivered within 3-5 business days, or faster. Total time depends on how many Hauls in your order and of one or multiple drivers claimed your order. Factors such as weather, traffic, and road closures may cause delays. While we can accommodate larger orders, if you have any questions, we suggest you reach out before placing your order.

What should I do if there’s an issue with my delivery?

Contact us via phone, email, or chat for assistance. Please note, once a delivery is in progress, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges.

Is there a minimum order amount?

The minimum order is equivalent to one Haul (18 tons). There’s no maximum, but larger orders require more time to fulfill.

Can I return or exchange materials if I order incorrectly?

Due to the nature of our materials, we cannot accept returns or exchanges. Please review your order details (material, quantity, delivery address) carefully before purchasing.

Can I create a recurring order?

Recurring orders aren’t available yet, but our system saves your info for quick and easy reordering.

Do you conduct driver background checks?

Our drivers must have an active/clean CDL, current liability and worker’s comp insurance. We rely on Checkr to conduct the commercial MVR checks and our team verifies insurance. Client satisfaction is very important to us.
